Sometimes that single reply gets screenshotted and shared far beyond the original thread it actually came from.
This dynamic means popularity does not always flow neatly from the top down. A modest post can gain unexpected traction purely because its comment section developed a life of its own, drawing viewers in to read the replies as much as the original content. The original post effectively becomes a stage, while the real performance happens somewhere further down the page.
